We recently posted a call for nominations and expressions of interest in leadership positons for the Roper Parent Community (RPC) http://roeperrecord.com/?p=6874. I want to encourage you to share your talents, wisdom, and volunteer spirit with our parent organization. Please take a moment and give some consideration to the leadership opportunities that are available.
As we begin to form our new slate of officers for the RPC, I want to take a moment to offer my sincere thanks to our current RPC President, Patrycja Krzok. Patrycja’s engaging manner and dedication to building community has provided our school with valuable guidance and leadership.
As a Roeper School alum, Patrycja understands the importance of relationships and the opportunities RPC provides in connecting parents, students, teachers and administrators in positive ways on behalf of the whole school. Whether she was organizing the all school picnic, helping with new parent events, celebrating the work of our faculty, or engaging us in ways to build stronger connection across campuses, Patrycja has provided us with thoughtful leadership and we are grateful.
Moving into the next school year, I am pleased to share that Patrycja will be providing mentorship and guidance to our incoming RPC President, Lori Talbott. Lori and her husband Ryan have two children at Roeper, their son Michael is in Stage IV and their daughter Mia is in Stage I. Lori has most recently served as the RPC Vice President for the Lower School.
