The Reptar soccer program is an indoor program where teams made up of mostly Roeper students play in teams in age groups from under 6 (Stage II first years) through U11 (Stage IV second years). This program is run by Deb Veillette and Paula Romano. We enter teams in each age group. The primary purpose of the program is to develop some soccer skills while having fun playing with fellow classmates. Age groups are as follows:
Under 6 2012 Birth year
Under 7 2011 Birth year
Under 8 2010 Birth year
Under 9 2009 Birth year
Under 10 2008 Birth year
Under 11 2007 Birth year
Parents volunteer to coach the teams at the games. This consists of subbing them on and off the field and encouraging them to play soccer as a team. Paula and Deb conduct practices during recess. Each team consists of around 8-11 players.
The uniforms will be the same as last year so only those players who need or want a new jersey should order them. The cost of the jersey is included in the U6 fees since all of their players will be new this year. The cost of these jerseys is $20 for adult sizes and and $18 for youth sizes. Players should wear black shorts and red socks. You can also order Nike Tiempo shorts in black and red soccer socks through this registration at an additional cost. These items are optional. Players can choose to provide their own shorts and socks. The Nike Tiempo shorts cost $15 for Youth sizes and $18 for adult sizes. Red Nike socks cost $7.00.
The Reptar indoor soccer season will begin the week of October 23. The program will run for the first two sessions at Total Soccer in Royal Oak – session #1 runs from October through December 23, Session #2 runs from January 2 through March 5. There is a third session at total soccer. Each team can decide as a group to play session 3. If a team decides to play session three, they are responsible for registering and collecting payments for this session. Winter schedules will work around Roeper basketball schedules.
The schedule is put together by Total Soccer Royal Oak. There is generally one game per week. Deb and I do not have control over the days or times that the teams play. Saturday and Sunday games can be anytime between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Weekday evening games occur between 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. There is usually one game per week. Practices will occur once a week in the CCB Gym during recess. Details about practices will follow. The fees cover the cost of the registration for each team in the league. The game days and fees for each age group is as follows:

Teams will be assembled by interest. If there is not enough interest in one age group then the players will be grouped with players in the next oldest age group. If there is not enough interest to form a girls only team, the girls are welcome to join the boys team in that age group. If there is not enough interest in the oldest group, the team may not form. If there is enough interest for two teams, two teams can be formed if there is a parent willing to coach.
