Lower School: Lost and Found Math Problem

Looking for a real world example of an inverse relationship?  Look no further than the lost and found at the Lower School!  Throughout the halls and lost and found areas across campus, there is one common mathematical trend:  as temperatures decrease the number of items in the lost and found increases.

Please help us to balance this equation and encourage your budding mathematicians to subtract their items from the lost and found.
