Upper School Class Creates Sculpture – Update!

This is a follow-up to the posting below. Here are some photos of some of the installations of the finished sculptures:

Students in Tessa Stein’s Upper School “Exploring Sculpture” class are in the process of creating most unusual sculptures. They are wrapping their bodies with packaging tape while in different poses. When they are completed, they will be placed around the school. The idea, according to Tessa, is to “bring some life and humor into the building and for her students to engage with the space in a creative and critical way”. She said, “With our building going through transformation, I thought it a perfect time to have students input and engagement of the space.”

We will post photos of the installation when it is completed. In the meantime here are photos of the work in progress:
