The Students Shoulder to Shoulder application process for Summer, 2019, is open. Now is the time to discuss this as an exciting option for next summer. Roeper students and staff who have participated in previous summers have great things to say about this experience.
Students Shoulder to Shoulder offers summer experiential courses in global citizenship for high school students. They take place on four continents and their goal is to “inspire and support the next generation as ethical leaders”. Roeper began it’s partnership with this organization in 2012 and since that time, our students have participated in their summer courses each year in the United States and throughout the world.
The destinations this summer are Bolivia, Cambodia, Kenya, Nepal, Panama, Peru, San Diego/Tijuana, Tibet, Detroit, New Orleans and Pine Ridge Reservation (South Dakota).
