The Roeper choirs competed at the District Choral Festival on March 1st. They performed songs in English, Spanish, Hebrew, and Latin for the judges, enjoyed a workshop with one of the judges, competed in sight-reading, and had the chance to hear several choirs from around the area.
The Upper School Concert Choir is a young, growing high school group with lots of basses and tenors, many of whom are new to choir singing. They did a great job and received a rating of “Good”. The Middle School combined choirs sang well and received a perfect sight-reading score making their overall rating an “Excellent”! The Middle School choir hopes to travel to Marysville in April for the state level festival.
