The entire school gathered on Wednesday, November 20 to celebrate Diversity Day. The focus this year was on Asian culture. Students participated in a martial arts class, watched a performance by Chinese acrobats, and learned interesting facts about Asia presented by Stage IV students. Some Roeper families from Asia shared about their culture via video (thanks to Julie Nemchik for taping/editing this video). Special thanks to Carolyn Lett and the lower, middle, and upper school students on the diversity committee for arranging this special day.
A video of the Chinese Acrobat performance is available here. (Thank you to Tony Mottley, Roeper parent, for taping this performance.)
