Of the 1.6 million entrants, approximately 50,000 with the highest PSAT scores qualify for recognition in the National Merit® Scholarship Program. The top third of this pool, about 16,000 students qualify as National Merit Semi-Finalists who are further evaluated to determine their eligibility to become Finalists.
Roeper student Carter Wade was selected as a National Merit Semi-finalist.
The other two thirds of those students are Commended students in recognition of their outstanding Academic Promise. This year, Roeper students (l. to r.) Meagan Konst, Phillip Popp and Charlie Uchno received letters of commendation and may become candidates for other Special Scholarships.
Congratulations to Carter, Meagan, Phillip and Charlie!
