9th Grader, Celia Lipton’s poem “Movies” was selected as one of the finalists in the 2017 Charles Crupi Memorial Contest. Judges of the contest were four Albion College English professors. “Movies” ranked among the top 2% of the total poems submitted this year.
In her letter to Celia, Albion English Professor Jess Roberts wrote, “Being a finalist is a considerable accomplishment. It is a testament to the power and precision of your language.”
