Aiden Song K-8 Michigan Chess 2018 State Co-Champion!

 

Congratulations to 7th grader, Aiden Song, for becoming the K-8 Michigan Chess 2018 State Co-Champion. Aiden was undefeated (4 wins and 1 draw) at the Michigan Junior Chess Championship in March. He went on to represent Roeper at the National Junior High Chess Championships this past weekend in Atlanta, GA. Aiden had 4 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss (to the top rated player) earning him 35th place out of 300 competitors from around the country in the K-8 Championship section.
