On May 3 and 4, Stage IV Choir presents The Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert and Sullivan. From the time they see a performance as Stage II students, these Stage IV students look forward to reaching this milestone and anticipate their turn in a Stage IV musical production. The play is double-cast, so a group of students play a featured role one night, while the other group sings in the chorus. The next night the roles are flipped. This allows all performers to have a featured role in the show. There are many soloists and some small ensembles, as well.
Performances take place in the CCB Gym so there is plenty of seating available. No tickets needed. Handicapped access seating should be reserved in advance by emailing the date and number of seats desired to Jennifer Evenson.
