Stage I had its traditional Thankful Muffin Morning where parents came and shared muffins with the children in the Hill House and wrote what they had to be thankful for. The Domes Stage I students had their celebration in the Big Dome.
Stage II had their Thanksgiving Feast in the Big Dome with a very long buffet table and sat at tables to share the meal on hand made placemats. Many parents helped out so that the teachers could eat with the children too!
Stage III celebrated with their annual Turkey Trot where parents could enjoy the family projects of the other families. The families assignment was to create turkeys out of things they had around the house and write what they were thankful for on the turkeys.
The entire Middle and Upper School enjoyed the Thanksgiving Feast tradition which Colleen Potocki started when she was a seventh grade teacher and prepared turkeys for the whole school! This year it looks like RPC stepped up to get it on the table.
All of us in the Communications Department/Roeper Record wish everybody a happy Turkey Day!
