Susan Shapiro ’77 is an award winning journalism professor and best selling author living in Manhattan. She has  written for The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, L.A. Times and Newsweek. Susan recently published her tenth book, What’s Never Said, a novel about a twenty year old poetry student who falls for her distinguished professor and what ensues decades later.

Susan will be in town to speak at an Author Dinner at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield on Monday, August 10th. The following day she will lead a “Secrets of Publishing” Panel at Barnes & Noble which is free to the public. Donations will benefit the scholarship fund at Roeper.
