Hello Roeper Families!
Maddy (7th grade), Nick (5th grade) and I would like to share with you a unique opportunity to travel abroad this summer. As a child, I traveled with CISV (Children’s International Summer Villages) and now I serve on their board. Maddy traveled to Switzerland as an 11 year old and Nick plans to travel to either Portugal or Germany this summer. They would love their Roeper friends to become involved, even if they are not ready to travel just yet. There are opportunities this summer for ages 11 through 18 years. An overnight mini camp is planned for Jan 23rd – 24th where parents can get more information about the organization while the children get a taste of what CISV is all about. CISV’s philosophy is all about cultural sensitivity and building global friendships – “peace is possible through friendship”. Click here to get more information and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Jen Keuten – firstname.lastname@example.org or 248-515-5711
