Parent/Professional Resource Center-Lower School Children’s Library

The Roeper Parent Community (RPC) along with Library Media Specialist Carmen Pianko have created a Parent/Professional Resource Center located in the Mezzanine of the Children’s Library thanks to generous donations from the Roeper community. Books cover topics such as general parenting, gifted children, nutrition, social development, learning disabilities, ADHD, education, Roeper history/philosophy, and environmental issues among others.  These books can be checked out during open hours (7:45am-4:00pm) in the Children’s Library.

If you have any books you believe will help others in our community and would like to donate them, please give these books to Carmen at the Children’s Library in the Steward Building and specify they are for the Parent/Professional Resource Center.

Parent Beth Vens has volunteered to assist with the Parent/Professional Resource Center and would appreciate any ideas or input via email to

And finally, if you have really amazing books you can’t bear to part with, could you please share those titles with Carmen or Beth so that we can add them to our “wish list”?

Thank you for your support as a community to making this dream a possibility!
