MIFA Middle School State Tournament Results

Forensics MS States at Wayne State April 16 2014Congratulations to the Middle School Forensics Team! On Saturday, April 26, 2014, the Roeper Middle School Forensics Team competed at the MIFA Middle School State Tournament at Wayne State University. Roeper students once again performed admirably throughout all aspect of the tournament. Many thanks to all of the parents who contributed in so many ways to making our tournament day smooth logistical sailing for all of the students!  Heaps of thanks to the high school students who helped with coaching and judging, including (but not limited to): Akiko Abe; Sam Johnson; Emma Kretchmer; Ellie Moskowitz; Lukas Sznewajs; Jonathon Borja; Fiona Maylath-Bryant; Audrey Barnes; David Degazio. Also, thanks to our assistant coaches: Jaffar Boumediene; Adam Smock; Patrick Ratliff; and Alex Pedica; and to volunteer coaches Patty Dalton, Dennis Bernard and Renae Thibault.  And, of course, to Amy O’rourke for expertly driving the bus to get us there and back again!

The next competition will be the Roeper High School Forensics Team traveling to the MIFA High School State Tournament May 1-3 in Kalamazoo.
