LS Students Share Their Voice

LS nationalwalkout 2018

Gifted children often exhibit a strong sense of justice. As these children navigate their world, they are driven to understand complex issues and want to make a difference. Roeper teachers encourage even the youngest students to ask questions, to think critically and to use their voice responsibly. Here a group of fourth and fifth graders chose to walk out of class on the anniversary of Columbine to honor students who have been killed by guns and to share their feelings about gun violence. #nationalwalkout
