The 9th Grade with guidance from Alumni Coordinator Adam Smock planned and provided a wonderful Founders’ Day experience for our community on Monday. Middle and Upper School students came by bus to the Lower School campus and joined their younger buddies in an activity in homerooms designed to have students and teachers think about George and Annemarie’s ideas and the philosophy of the school. Then the entire school met in the CCB where Adam welcomed the community and David Feldman talked about Founders’ Day. Graduate Michael Deneroff announced the gift from the class of 2015 which is a Foosball table for the new Learning Commons at the Birmingham campus. 9th graders Kat Moore, Maddy Harner, Meagan Konst, Charlie Uchno and Alison Albrecht also spoke.
Following the assembly the RPC provided an ice cream treat and the Middle and Upper school then returned to their campus. Here are some photos from the day:
