Daniel Kahn ’97 Performs in Detroit!

Roeper alumnus, Daniel Kahn ’97 & the Painted Bird, will be performing on Tuesday, September 25th at 6pm at the Marble Bar in Detroit. Based in Berlin, their music has been described as “a mixture of Klezmer, radical Yiddish song, political cabaret and punk folk.”

Proceeds will benefit the Detroit Jews for Justice and their work for racial and economic justice and the Birmingham Temple’s efforts to support a local family of Syrian refugees. It is also sponsored by Wayne State’s Cohn-Haddow Center for Judaic Studies.

All ages welcome are welcome. Cash bar for 21+. Secure parking available.
