Annual Roeper Textbook Swap – IT’S TIME TO BRING YOUR BOOKS IN!

YOU HAVE TWO MORE DAYS TO DROP YOUR USED TEXTBOOKS OFF – TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be an early bird “shopper” at the swap! Details below :)

We need your help! RPC is holding our annual¬†Roeper Textbook Swap in August. It’s absolutely free and a great way to swap your child’s old textbooks for “new” textbooks that your child will need next year. Dust those books off in the basement or get rid of them before you have to figure out where to store them after finals!

Of course, anyone can “shop” at the Textbook Swap Store in August, but those who donate their textbooks at the drop off in June will have early access to shop. So donate what you can now, and come back in August to take what you need.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Get together any textbooks you have from this or previous school years. Please make sure to only send in TEXTBOOKS or English books and pull any ones you know teachers are no longer using, if possible.

Step 2: Label your stack of books with your name, your email address and your child’s name as well as their grade (this is important to make sure you get credit for your drop off and early shopping access!!!)

Step 3: Drop off your old textbooks on the following dates in the little lot on the Birmingham campus. Look for parents who will be taking your books so you don’t have to park and get out.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, June 11th-13th, from 7:30-8:15am.

*There will also be collection boxes outside the main office on the Birmingham campus and in the Children’s Library on the Bloomfield campus!

Step 4:¬†Come “shop” at the actual swap in August. The early bird “shopping” will be on Thursday, August 9th from 5:00-7:00pm and everyone in the community will be invited to “shop” on Friday, August 10th from 7:30-10:00am and 5:00-7:00pm (location to be announced!).

It’s that easy!

We are so excited to be continuing this project, but in order for this to be successful we need your textbooks. This is a win-win for everyone!
