The Middle and Upper School Student Government has organized a No Cell Phone Use day on Tuesday, May 1st, to encourage classmates to “recognize the effects these devices have on our mental health.” On Wednesday afternoon, the student body will gather to debrief on the phone-free experience and further the discussion of health and wellbeing of the community.
The partnership of students and families around the topic of cell phone use and culture is important. To build on this partnership, we are hosting a follow-up community town hall for families. Please join Head of School, David Feldman, Upper School Director, Karen Johnson, and Middle School Director, Brian Corley, to learn about the student experience, to continue the dialogue and to share resources.
